Traveling with this suitcase is simply fun and attracts lots of compliments. I use it only as a carry on as I am not sure how durable it is. The sides seems a little thin but so far the suitcase has been on three trips and functions well. The spinner wheels are wonderful.
Super design with interior zippers and pockets, cute overall look. Bought for 6- and 8-year-old “first luggage” and first airplane ride, so handles are a tad long but they will grow into it and the design will be cool when they are tweens.
Great luggage. I got a lot of compliments for it and it was super easy to spot at baggage claim. I was able to pack clothes for a week, the pair of shoes and some heavy books in there. I checked the bag at the airport. Although the exterior got a few scratches which I expect, it still looks nice and shiny.
This bag is exactly as pictured and is great for use as a carry on. Fits clothes for 4-5 days with a 2-3 pairs of shoes. It’s survived a couple of international and domestic flights without incident

i bought this specifically for a two week trip i was planning. through four different airports and several hotel rooms, cars,etc it held up very nicely. it didn’t get any cracks or scratches, it is very light and easy to maneuver. plus it was very easy to spot in the sea of black luggage coming off the airplanes. overall i think i made a good purchase!
Rockland is a known luggage brand. However that does not mean that everybody got what they expected. Some buyers were clearly unhappy and gave some negative reviews about this Rockland Carry-on:
This is terrible carry on, it smells inside the bag.
This would be great if it met the size limits of all of the airlines but it doesn’t. That being said you run the risk of paying for extra baggage. For instance United’s limits are 14 x 9 x 22″.
The trolley on the suitcase is very loose and it shakes back and forth easily even without anything in it. Had to return it the next day after I got it!
The pull out handle continues to get stuck on UP, making it hard for either kid to navigate it easily through airports.
The quality of this luggage is really just OK like others said. You have to be very careful to it, especially the lever.
